Karla Dickmeyer, M.D. OBGYN

Dr. Karla Dickmeyer has been providing health care to women in Madison since 1998.  She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at The Ohio State University.  She earned her Doctorate of Medicine from University of Wisconsin.  Dr. Dickmeyer is a Board Certified Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  She is a staff physician at Meriter Hospital and volunteers at CareNet Pregnancy Center of Dane County.

Dr. Dickmeyer grew up in Milwaukee.  She attended Valparaiso University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry and graduated Magna Cum Laude.  She shares the vision of all the partners to focus on strong physician-patient communication and believes in empowering women to strive for health and balance.

Dr. Dickmeyer is committed to the highest quality of care in all aspects of women’s health.  Her special interests include:

• Minimally invasive surgical techniques, including laparoscopic and hysteroscopic approaches
• High and low risk obstetrics
• Pelvic floor disorders
• Postmenopausal medicine

Dr. Dickmeyer lives in Madison with her family.  She loves the outdoors, staying physically fit, perennial gardening, and relaxing with her family.
