Erin Schoenecker, M.D. OBGYN

Dr. Erin Schoenecker has been providing health care to women in Wisconsin since 2005.  She earned her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Wisconsin in 2001 and served as class president while in medical school.  She subsequently completed her residency at the University of Rochester in upstate New York.  As a resident she received an award for excellence in laparoscopic surgery.  After her residency, Dr. Schoenecker practiced at UW-Health Partners Watertown Regional Medical Center for five years before relocating to Madison.  She is a Board Certified Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  

Dr. Schoenecker grew up in several different parts of Wisconsin.  She attended the University of Wisconsin Green Bay on a full athletic scholarship and was a member of the women’s basketball team, helping her team reach the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Tournament.  Her lifelong love of athletics has translated into a strong interest in the role of exercise in women’s health.

Dr. Schoenecker is committed to the highest quality of care in all aspects of women’s health.  She has particular interests in:

• Women’s Fitness
• Laparoscopy
• High and low risk obstetrics

Dr. Schoenecker lives on the near east side of Madison.  She has five children and enjoys running, spending time with her family, and exploring the downtown area.
